From Vision to Creation

Let's Chat

1. Initial Meeting

We’ll meet for a virtual or in-person consultation. This is our chance to get acquainted with you & your project, and give you the chance to get to know us. We brainstorm what you're looking for, assess what you have, & help figure out what will best serve your jewelry needs.

Get Sketchy

2. Sketch Concepts

With our budget and timing parameters established and a small deposit, a designer will sketch concepts for your piece for you to review & discuss together.

Bring on the Sparkle!

3. Stone Review

If you need gems and/or diamonds, we'll get together to review the best options from our collection or our extensive vendor library. We find the perfect stones for you, wherever they may be!

Rendering Your Vision

4. Creating the Model

When we've settled on a design concept & have your gems, one of our bench jewelers will create a 3D model in CAD to bring the sketch to life in exact dimensions.

If the vision for your piece is organic or weathered & has a more hand-carved look, a milled wax model that can be manipulated by hand can be made from the CAD, or the piece can be started directly from a wax block in traditional jeweler’s wax. It all depends on what makes the most sense for your individual needs.

Tightening Up

5. Editing

Whether it be in CAD or a wax model, we discuss any small revisions to be made until we have the final version of the model to be cast. 

With our model finalized, we know exactly what our end quote will be.

Production Time!

6. Creation

We cast, set, polish, engrave, and apply any additional specialized craftsmanship needed to create your finished piece.

Upon receiving it from the bench, your piece is lovingly & artfully documented by our photographer so you (and we!) can show it off to the world. It could even be used in this very post!

It's Yours!

7. Finished Product

We deliver your finished piece to you in person or ship it securely to a location near you, and we all celebrate this meaningful piece and the place it will hold throughout your life’s journey.
