




Antique Tiberius Cesar Bronze Pruta Coin Necklace
An antique Tiberius Cesar bronze Isreali Pruta coin necklace. This unique piece features an ancient coin dating from 26-36 A.D. The front side of the coin portrays a border of dots that represent the wand of Augur; high priest and official during the classical Roman era. The reverse side of the coin features a wreath of leaves with another border of dots. A Pruta coin (meaning "of smaller value") was a denomination of currency in Israel prior to 1960. A unique collector's item that arrives with a certificate of authenticity from Aber & Levine, Ltd. in Israel, the coin itself hangs from a 24" inch long gold chain.
